Ok, so it’s been a while. Eight months to be exact. In that time life has been moving at a pretty brisk pace. I may tell some stories of events during that time in the near future, but for now a quick overview of the more important events will have to do.
- In June I left InStep Software to become a consultant for Magenic. I should have become a consultant years ago.
- In July Deb and I became engaged. If proposing in downtown Chicago, try not to do so during the Taste of Chicago.
- In August I visited Anaheim to attend the World Science Fiction Convention. Both Anaheim and the con were a bit disappointing, but it’s always nice to meet up with writer friends (and to invent cocktails).
- September and October consisted of a lot of wedding planing.
- November consisted of a lot of relocation planning
- Last week Deb moved in with me. Now there are baskets everywhere.
- Last night I bought a new car. A Honda Civic Hybrid.
I’m starting the Scribblings over from scratch. I have all the old posts backed up but there’s no way easy way to restore them and maintain working links. I’ll probably dig out the old recipe posts at some time.
